Shelly Cohen Futerman

Shelly Cohen Futerman is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology. Her research focuses on the intersection of educational technologies, artificial intelligence, and ethical awareness, with particular emphasis on higher education and future-oriented educational practices.

Shelly holds a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Adult Education from Yorkville University in Canada.

Shelly has teaching experience at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and Atid College, where she has taught learners from varied academic backgrounds. Her current research investigates the role of artificial intelligence as a scaffolding tool for fostering ethical awareness among learners. Her broader academic interests include bridging the gap between emerging technologies and pedagogical innovation and examining their implications for the future of higher education.
