Maya is a PhD student at the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion.

Her research focuses on the promotion of innovative thinking in the context of engineering students' team projects. Her research examines differences between diverse learning environments and learners heterogeneity.  

Maya received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Sapir Academic College, and her M.A. (cum laude) from Ben Gurion University. 

She worked as a lecturer at the Open University of Israel.

She currently works as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion.
