​Maya is a PhD graduate from the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion.

Currently, Dr. Maya Usher is a Research Associate in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion, and serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Instructional Technologies at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT).

As part of Prof. Miri Barak's research group, Dr. Usher conducts research on artificial intelligence ethics education for science and engineering students and co-supervises Ph.D. candidates alongside Prof. Barak.
